Vitamin Dre

I may not be receiving all of THESE on my last report card. BUT OH MY. I CANT BELIEVE IT. I am a soon to be college graduate and never have to open a chemical engineering textbook again. (Holla!!) The Feeling has only begun to set in. Hours after my final and I still couldn’t sit still and relax, as I had intended. I got the spring cleaning bug (really badly) and scrubbed our entire apartment. I put my handy-woman hat on and tried to fix the lingering problems around our apartment. I chatted with big sis pacing the aisles of target for 30 minutes without putting anything in my cart! I invited first year friends over for grilled shrimp tacos with pineapple jicama salsa. We laughed and laughed about the stories of that year - what has changed, what has remained. I baked the BEST homemade chocolate chip cookies and played with the sweetest dog Hannah saved, Buddy. He even sat with me by the oven impatiently waiting for their edges to brown. I stayed up for one of my favorites - late night chats with emily about love and life. I fell asleep in my twin bed nudged right beside that of my best friend of the past four years listening to nature sounds!  I woke up and got my sweat on. Ventured to the laundromat and washed, waited, dried, and folded about 7 loads of laundry. I read. I journaled. I went to see a documentary at my favorite little local theater. And then I crashed - in bed by 9pm.  These past two days have been FILLED with the things I love and enjoy about life.
